I don't know what kind of cheating you're talking about, but to me, creating heroes of level 6424 in the game is also a form of cheating, achieved through a bug in the game. In Xiedu, you encounter such a hero on the very first turn, with a golden dragon from Armageddon, which causes all your troops to die. It's the most blatant form of bug exploitation.
