I usually determine the zones revealed by the eye based on their content, judging by what I see, it's usually quite clear, but this requires experience. I don't think there was ever a description, but the general principle is approximately this: the value of the zone increases – from resource areas to resource centers, and then to treasure areas. Let someone who knows for sure correct me.

Finding a treasure area is usually not a problem. If you're interested, write a specific template, and I'll give you a hint.
