Yeah, this map is definitely not for beginners. There’s a shortage of both wood and ore at the beginning, as well as rare resources. I started with a hero and quickly got crushed at the end of the second week :D I didn’t want to lower the difficulty, and I don’t particularly like playing as Necropolis, so after trying different options, I switched to a strong defensive strategy with Dwarves. There was a chest near the starting point – I kept restarting until I got the basic skills for controlling machines. Rapid-firing ballista, rune machines, a battle to the last – in general, the intermediate result at the end of month 2, week 4, day 7 is this: .
P.S. Once, I thought I could meet the enemy at the outskirts, weaken them with minimal losses, and then retreat to the tavern – but it didn’t work. The hero Steinar doesn’t appear in the tavern.
