Earth is perfectly positioned in the scale of our Solar System, so that all other planets attract asteroids moving towards Earth! Where do you think all the craters on Mars and the Moon came from – they attracted the asteroids. For millions of years, humans have existed, and to this day, no "fatal" meteorite has fallen on Earth. So all these rumors and tales have no real basis.
