Still, I don't think splitting the forum is the solution. The problem of the hero-themed discussions fading into the background is due to the fact that this topic is not inexhaustible. Almost everything that can be discussed about the heroes has already been discussed, hence the small number of new topics (and those are mostly tournament-related). If a new user creates a topic, for example, "TACTICS FOR PLAYING AS THE SWAMP," the moderators close it and send him to a similar topic created about a year ago, which contains 15-20 pages of discussion (not everyone has the patience to read 15-20 pages, and after reading that much, they won't even want to write anything themselves). So, we are ending up with something that is more like a library about the heroes than a forum where people communicate about hero-related topics. In my opinion, such duplicate topics should not be closed – let new users discuss the issues that interest them (and the "experts" can offer some advice if they have the time), while the old-timers have already discussed everything a long time ago.

The example of the battle was given only with the PURPOSE of showing you how you will attract people to Heroes 4 if you force them to grind through such battles manually until the end, when the battle takes at least 2-3 hours, or even more, but after 20 minutes it is already clear how it will end, and you just have to fly around with fairies and run in circles with the hero away from the plants?
Once again, I am not discussing the battle here, but how to attract people to the hero-themed discussions, or more specifically, to Heroes 4. Or are you saying that everything is fine here with Heroes 4?
This is what personally bothers me the most about the proposed tournaments – having to grind through one obvious battle for hours. Time is not unlimited... And even if it is, it is not unlimited for everyone.
