They gave me Haste on the 2nd day, and I managed to take the 1st pre-max Necropolis (spent all the secondary resources on +1 defense and experience). The log clearly showed where to go. The 1st road was completely blocked.
Fury with air units: 5, 2, 2, 1 (ran towards +3 more stats). No Gremlins.
