Anyone who claims that Necropolis is a weak faction simply doesn't know how to play it; that's all. With its specific properties and skillful management, they can defeat anyone (except in a battle against themselves). Everything looks great. And the units are excellent. And the dragons are decent, even if they aren't the strongest among the 7th-level creatures. Enough complaining.
I would say that the dragons are actually the weakest among the 7th-level creatures, even if we remember Heroes of Might and Magic 3, where they weren't the most powerful either. The only thing that doesn't satisfy me about the Necropolis is them.
