If the community enjoys off-topic discussions, it means they find it appealing. Why isn't there as much enthusiasm for topics related to the game? Because there's practically nothing new to discuss. This is just my personal opinion. Spending a couple of hours reading about tactics for the Fortress faction (for example) isn't interesting to me. But how can we make it all more engaging? I think that's a great question, and there's no definitive answer. We need to come up with something that will interest people and eliminate the need to read ten pages. As for off-topic discussions, I'm sure they shouldn't be banned. This is purely for ethical reasons, because if someone wants to discuss the game, we need to make people interested in it, rather than deprive them of the opportunity to write about anything else.
