Respawn wasn't great, but there were Dwarf Cottages + crypts + a few hydras, wyverns, basilisks. And 2 hives within reach. The dragons were guarding a shield from the Giant set. I managed to place hydras in the castle + build a fort in the village for wyverns. I was shocked how Tazar took down about 65 cavalrymen losing only all gnolls and 2 basilisks. Moving on, I found Galtran. Attacked him and moved like a turtle. Luck and morale paid off (since I had +2 of both). A somewhat lucky victory, because the hydras and wyverns double-procced morale and struck with luck.
