If you're not absolutely certain that the guard is broken through, then you shouldn't have gone, and if you did go, then be so kind as to admit that your risk did not pay off.

How often do you not go to your opponent's respawn when you see that there is no ГО?
I understand when there are several ГО in one passage, then there is reason to doubt whether anything was broken through there or not. But when there is no ГО in the passage (on the way!) to the opponent's respawn, it is quite reasonable to assume that it was broken through.

And as for the fact that you could have saved and asked the judge whether you could pass — the judge does not have the right to hint to the player whether the ГО was broken through into that zone. (If he had said you couldn't pass, Vova would have immediately understood that the opponent hadn't broken through the ГО yet.)

But I believe that a player has the right to ask the judge for clarification on whether this passage is bugged or not. On Jebus Cross this is not as critical; on ХЛ and Diamond it doesn't matter, but on something like Panic such situations occur very often. And if the judge considers the information a spoiler — they will answer "decide for yourself."

About a dozen times on streams I've noted moments where a player sees a clear passage to someone else's/neutral respawn but doesn't go in, not being 100% sure that the ГО has been broken through, because everyone knows that's a technical loss.

There's a big difference between a neutral respawn and an opponent's respawn. On 126, as a rule, your own ГО is broken through.
