Do we really need this generator? I mean, if I generate maps in the standard Heroes, and then play the generated map in 5.5, wouldn't it be the same? Or are there other steps needed to make the new neutral creatures appear?
The 5.5 generator has many new objects and artifacts. That's the main feature of this mod. But the generator doesn't create random stacks of creatures; it creates stacks with specific monsters. And since the 5.5 generator doesn't work with NCF by default, the map will only have standard creatures. But I really want to play with both NCF creatures and the 5.5 features. You can manually add creatures to the map using the editor. But that's a real pain.

Although, in principle, if you generate maps on a separate instance of MMH5.5, then theoretically such maps should work on the modified .exe - but you would have to keep two instances!
They will work on the NCF instance; I've already checked that. But there won't be any NCF creatures there because the stacks aren't random. Please help, comrade psatkha.
By the way, I don't know if it's related. Moddb says that if something goes wrong, you should delete index.bin. But this file isn't being generated. Maybe it's related? Like, there's something wrong with the folder permissions, etc.

By the way, I also ran the Visual Studio debugger, and it complained about permissions.
