Sold necro for around 4k and bought a color cheap.
I don't remember the restarts exactly, but ended up with a very good layout. Miner start: 2 Hives + Griffin Conservatory + external dwelling. Boots + gloves were the cherry on top :D
First, I killed the native computer player; while heading to them, I found another pair of boots :D. I gave the second pair to the moner, who was planned as the papa because they got Earth magic.
From the spawn, I got 3 angels and 10 ducks, then later found a mini conservatory and a hive.
I finally found the path to the opponent and took the conf village on day 125.
On day 131, the main was also taken, but only Mage Guild 2 had been built there. Resources were very scarce, so by that time I only had Mage Guild 4 myself.
Then I managed to mess up a bit and lost the moner :D
I went into a treasure chamber; there were a couple of artifacts, the first was empty, and in the second I found a cap and +5 all-stats. On the 4th attempt, I only found Town Portal in the Mage Guild, and with full control, things went faster. I also took a Griffin Conservatory for +2 speed. I turned all the meat into skeletons, got 750, and upgraded them. The opponent appeared within reach, and the miner covered him. More meat and stats.
