Crime is everywhere where there are Caucasians, Black people, Latinos, and Muslims of various kinds.

You forgot to add Russians. There is a lot of crime in Thailand related to the Russian mafia (I see mostly murders and kidnappings in the news). I don't know about the first three categories, but Muslims are different; Malaysia, Dubai, and Singapore didn't seem criminal to me (Singapore is not a Muslim country, but there are a lot of Muslims living there).

China

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you meant Hong Kong or Macau.

Taiwan

I want to go there myself, but there are visa issues.
