I'm not a pro either, and I don't even consider myself to be a good player. Heroes isn't a game about speed. I doubt there's even one player here who doesn't know the basics. Playing fast doesn't always mean playing well.
I agree with this and think it's worth adding the following:
5 - 10 - 15 is too much! You can waste time during a battle, but why? You still can't see the map properly, etc.
2 minutes is perfectly fine. If two powerful players meet, that's a different story... I could play with a 1-minute timer, but I want to achieve at least some result! And I don't think there's anything more to say; everyone has already said everything...
