Seems we took it after the restart, got lucky with the target that provided some meat, which helped the start without elves. On the first I pushed into the blocks, but fought them off and built cavalry in the Citadel, found and cleared an external dwelling of elves. There were dragon cliffs guarded by evil eyes. Then a split, a teapot with a Hive was revealed behind the horde of minotaur kings. Got Kirey's land, with a lucky break on the third I took that goodie, ran to grab a Dragon Utopia (KO + boots of resistance) along the way and then to the opponent. The plan was to arm up before the fb, but the opponent lost almost his entire army and couldn't withstand the assault on the capital.

I played the layout poorly, lots of shooter blocks and a severe lack of gold at the start. Barely managed to get cavalry in the Citadel, had to trade to zero to afford everything. Ran around killing neutrals, took a Dragon Utopia for stats at the cost of almost my entire army (had no land). The hero leveled up very poorly — no land, no logistics.
