I was looking for tactics on how to play Heroes 7, and the forum seems empty. I remember this forum well; I thought it had everything, but it's empty. I started digging through the latest posts and stumbled upon this topic. Honestly, you won't really know until you try playing more. I'm currently playing Heroes 7, and I like it; it's a kind of hybrid. Heroes 5 is good, everything in it is great (except for the introduction of these alternate skill trees, in my opinion; after that, I lost the desire to play). But I can only play Heroes 5 in the campaign, and that's a problem, not because of my ultra-low skill, but simply because it gets boring. One battle with the AI isn't always successful. I recently chatted with a friend, and he has the same problem. For him, Heroes 6 is the best; he hasn't played 7, but he has the same problem with Heroes 5, so he plays with his friends in a network game of Heroes 3.
