Those who are looking for any way out of the situation are clinging to them, using any means possible. We agreed on load limits within the rules. Why did you "get upset" about the load limits? Everyone had the opportunity to discuss the rules before the tournament. In my opinion, everything is clear here - the rules state that load limits are not allowed by default, and if the players haven't agreed on them, then there are no load limits.
Regarding including load limits in the tournament rules - no problem, the majority votes (if this issue is discussed initially), and the corresponding rule is added.
I watch Vil's games - he can play without load limits and doesn't suffer.
And someone takes a risk and regrets letting a "cockroach" through the portal and needs a load limit.
Someone makes a misclick or forgets to remove a bracer - and they need a load limit.
And some (including strong players - for example, Stefan or Noom) deliberately play without load limits.
I personally consider Dex's message simply as informative, his personal opinion. He just said, everyone listened to him, and now let's continue, there's a tournament in the league, and there's 1 load limit in the rules. But I assure you - there will always be cases when that 1 load limit will be used sooner than it is actually needed.
