Heroes V или VII?

I haven't played the seventh installment, I've only seen videos about it. I don't like the similarities to the sixth game, like the round-based battles. I much prefer the ATB scale in the fifth game. And in general, I like how the units and, especially, the cities are designed in the fifth game. The seventh game was released 11 years later, but it couldn't create something similar or better, let alone surpass the sixth game.
I'll be able to compare them in more detail only when I play the seventh game, but for that, I need a new computer.
