For example, consider this: An unprecedented case. In the mountains of the Yergiaki Nature Park, tourists from Moscow left a seriously injured companion and returned home without informing anyone about the incident. Rescuers from the EMERCOM helped the man reach the tourist base.

As reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Khakassia, during a hike in the mountains, a 30-year-old tourist seriously injured the ligaments in his leg and could not move independently across the rugged mountain terrain. Four of his hiking companions decided not to sacrifice their plane tickets purchased for the return trip and hurried home, essentially leaving the injured man to his fate.

The unfortunate tourists didn't even inform the rescuers about the incident. The specialists of the South Siberian Search and Rescue Squad of the EMERCOM of Russia learned that the man needed help only a day later, from the injured man's mother, who told them the story. The on-duty rescuers immediately set out for the injured man, provided him with first aid, and helped him reach the tourist base.

It's hard to believe that such "friends" exist. But they are Russian, what else did you expect?
