In short, I only see a few viable options: trying to kill him with a combination of Taelina and black holes. But this needs to be done in the very first turn; otherwise, he will buff himself with ecstasy and heal. And he will chop Taelina to pieces. It doesn't seem very reliable. Unless we decide to keep an eye on him (using the Eye), wait for a competitor to appear, and take the stone from him when he deals with Carvelos.

Resilience prevents strong hits, but doesn't save from weak, multiple jabs, it seems.
Yes, ecstasy and heavy armor protect against multiple weak jabs. And the block skill. And who among us is capable of multiple weak jabs, besides Taelina and Eisa (whose bow is unlikely to deal any damage to him, but it can trigger ecstasy)? Our guys don't have very good accuracy either, so most attacks will be parried/blocked if he doesn't dodge them altogether.
