What types of combat do fans of Heroes enjoy?

Ninjutsu. I studied it some time ago, although mostly Bu-jutsu – the art of wielding weapons. Does that count?

It's strange, but I haven't heard anywhere about fights with two-handed (Claymore, etc.) and one-and-a-half-handed (Bastard) swords, without shields. Although, in terms of fencing technique, the weapons are interesting and look more spectacular than just hitting shields. Maybe I just wasn't listening to the right things or looking in the wrong places?
