A good setup with a bunch of gold that covered the 3.5k rollback, apparently. Near Castle, a Griffin Conservatory level 1 - took it on d1d1d4 via an upgrade of Centaurs with Eislinn, but lost 7 Grand Elves there. Then I took my native Castle opponent. My opponent at that time took two native Fortress opponents, ending up with 3 Fortress towns.
On the second week, I leveled Labetha for Griffin Conservatories, and used her to take two level 3 stacks, placed Kyrre at the entrance to the super Treasure Chamber and Dragon Utopia, simultaneously recovered a Fly scroll, and by d1d3d1 was setting up GM5 per plan. In the end, plans changed: at the entrance to the super Treasure Chamber, there was a Chalice, in the Dragon Utopia - +5 All, and in GM5 gave Town Portal, Resurrection, and Dimension Door. I grabbed a couple more Dragon Utopias, got a +12 Shield and +10 Helm, and went on the attack to take my opponent's towns. On d1d3d3, I took two Fortress towns, and there was nothing bought there, upgraded Wyverns there as well. On d1d3d5, I caught my opponent in Conflux, had +20 Attack and +40 Spell Power in stats, but there was a Magic Shield. My army had 13 Angels, 17 Wyverns, 6 Unicorns, 21 Grand Elves, my opponent had 45 Wyverns, 3 Angels, 3 Firebirds, 2 Phoenixes, 28 Basilisks, 80 Greater Lizards, 9 Greater Flies. Barely won the finale with mistakes thanks to a decisive Blind spell.
Thanks for the game!
That's how it was. I also had a pretty good setup, but there was no countering Artyom.
Thanks for the game!
