"only XL-3"

Took 2 restarts, got a spawn with stables near town, mullich and a Griffin Conservatory + respawn in the corner and decide to play. Gold-wise it was fine, but there wasn't much to level on... have 2 native AI towns, enter the portal and then ran along the corridor all the way to day 121 to native town... at the respawn I encounter an external dwelling of grand elites and an AI with a decent army... one day's march from town and it would've been sad if he entered the Citadel, since capturing it would have been tough, but day 121 was favorable, the AI ran into the respawn, I visit the stables near his town and sit in the empty Citadel... then max buying and army back urgently, because the opponent was very close... all circumstances push towards needing to go rush and take a risk with the Griffin Conservatory, which is 3-4 and on the grass... in short on day 123 I enter and there's max stats, things got really bad, since I only managed to level Tactics, Archery, and Logistics... I cast Haste on 39 grand elites and on the gr stack... then there was a tough fight where, as I see it, the outcome was decided by Blindness on a full stack from the wonder creatures))... then I back myself into a corner, the grand elites cut down 20 griffins each and endure it all... in the end I came out with 10 gr pegasi, 10+ Centaur, and all the grand elites... on day 124 I go for the Tower where many of the opp's heroes had gathered and on the last move I reach the capital with Crag Hack... managed to win!
P.S. If I hadn't attacked on this turn, who knows what would've happened on the next, because the opponent had a Necromancy Cloak with 111 from the graveyard near town and Crag Hack with Logistics, Boots of Speed, and Expert Air Magic.
