The contents of the note didn't particularly please Sarnissa: it was clear that the location for the attack had been chosen before she arrived, and she had no doubt that it was a good choice; however, the possibility that a third party knew about the upcoming operation, including all the details, even if it was someone connected to the employer, didn't rule out the possibility that this information could also be in the hands of other undesirable individuals, which significantly increased the risk of the entire mission failing. Nevertheless, in the current situation, there was no other choice.
After reviewing the assignments offered by the guild and deciding to discuss the execution of one of them with the other allies when they were done exploring the city, provided they had enough time for it, Sarnissa decided to take a walk through the market, more out of curiosity than for any specific purpose. In addition, it was a good opportunity to study the city in more detail, in order to eliminate most of the unforeseen circumstances both before the attack on Corvelos and during the likely retreat afterward.
