Beatrice stayed in the port to gather rumors – perhaps someone in the city is under a family curse, or an epidemic of plague is raging nearby. Or maybe someone just needs a good deed done, like rescuing a grandmother from a tree, helping a kitten cross the road, finding missing children, or something along those lines.
And she simply enjoys taking a walk, exploring the local sights and ships from different countries.
