You can argue about this with AlexeyPank, he's a historian. And matriarchy still exists in some tribes, as far as I know...but this has nothing to do with HoMM V. And don't mix real history with a fictional world. The matriarchal community of the Dark Elves may be far from reality, but it was created that way, and there are quite detailed descriptions of it. We should focus on them, and not on BDSM resources.
