I got lucky with a Gorgon and two Lizardmen dwellings (although I only took one... my mistake :smile29: ) on the starting location. After a couple of turns, I realized that I had a catastrophic problem with wood (only a few piles on the starting location), so I spent the entire first week struggling to find and gather wood and gold, to the point where I had to accept some minor losses due to my own foolishness.
On the second week, I had Gorgons and Vivs built in my Castle, and I was short on money. The opponent's Castle was blocked by 50+ wood, so I had to go around (4 turns). I decided to develop Gunnar, because only logistics could save me. I took gloves and boots for Gunnar  and grabbed the only visible resource dwelling.
On the third week, I needed to do something, because I suspected that the opponent wasn't critical and was quickly taking Castles from the AI. But everywhere there were swamps, rocks, and snow. I decided to go to the treasure location through the rocks; Gunnar grabbed the Earth skill, and we were short on mana. I made a huge mistake in the battle against the Ogres guarding the resource dwelling and the quest artifact (about 80 with a grand stack on their home ground), and as a result, the resource dwelling yielded almost nothing.
The treasure location turned out to be disappointing, so I went through the snow towards the opponent :( I'm glad that at least I collected a couple of Hive dwellings along the way. And at the end, a long-awaited miracle happened: the only visible Pandor dwelling turned out to be level 4...
On the fourth week, I rushed to the opponent's location; Gunnar was already moving 4000+ squares, I just needed roads, which the opponent had in abundance. I stole a Consul 3 artifact from under his nose, captured a couple of Castles. I collected a couple more Hive dwellings, spotted a Utopian dwelling (a level 3, which, as it turned out, contained the stats artifacts I needed, but I didn't get to it).
On turn 211, Gunnar took a morning run from one Castle to the opponent's main Castle, covering 4000 squares (the opponent had retreated to the treasure location), and it turned out that almost nothing had been bought there, including Titans.
The opponent surrendered.

Thank you for the game.
