So, didn't anything in the logs bother you, like the fact that my opponent only chose 2 time slots for me in the last few days, and didn't show up for the first one!? Should I have immediately started posting on the forum that my opponent was stalling?

At the beginning of the round, you should have immediately requested an ODD, as I started doing after the game with Ed. With this particular tournament organizer, it's easier to request an ODD on the first day than to deal with the mess at the end of the week.
