I'll add this: they included me in the list of these 4 people, the proponents of conspiracy theories.
I don't think Vitaly is a cheater. I know him personally, and he's a perfectly decent person. It's hard to imagine him engaging in something silly like maphacking or tampering with save files, and he doesn't seem like a malicious hacker who could even do that, but in general, there have been plenty of misunderstandings in his case as well.
Specifically in this game, as I understand it, Kostya is just grasping at straws. He doesn't even want to analyze the save files; it's a very unreliable example where you can easily fail.
But in the game that Indra wrote about, yes, that's very strange. It's at least a very strange game. Vitaly is a fairly high-level player, so why would he go all-in in the first week with such a risky strategy to try to take the Angel Portal? He should at least have some basic knowledge of the guards, knowing that there will be at least 30-35 of them, and how to deal with those 35-40. Well, I don't know, maybe I'm just too cautious.
I'm more of a believer in incredible luck than in "cheating": maybe his grandmother cast a spell, or he's using a rabbit's foot instead of a talisman, so you should try your luck betting on red or black, or spinning some kind of wheel.
In poker, I've seen dozens of times how, during a live session, one person just gets incredibly lucky (and it's happened to me a couple of times too), and there's nothing you can do about it, no matter how good your "A-game" is. The best solution is to just wait it out and not play that session at all.
The same goes for him. I have nothing against Vitaly, but I also don't want to get involved in this drawn-out session with the God Mod enabled.
Thank you.
