Members of the Crimson Dawn took up a favorable position for an ambush – on both sides of the ravine along the road leading to the Sands of Time. When the convoy they were expecting appeared on the horizon, they could once again see their opponents. A knight in heavy armor riding a horse led the column, followed by four archers and four spearmen. Among the future inhabitants of the Sands of Time, one could find only one man, who looked young.
