How much can scripts influence the core stats of heroes? Is it possible to create a hero who, upon attacking, can shuffle the enemy's stats among themselves?

It is possible, but there may be problems with returning the stats to their original values. There is also the artifact Mask of Justice.
You can give a temporary bonus upon attacking, depending on the enemy's strength, for example.
