I was fortunate with my hero and town, even with the map layout; I had 4 roads and some +1 power bonuses. I didn't get either Arrow or Lightning from the Conflux, only Ice Bolt. I suspected an early week 2 meeting, and after beating the Medusae and Pit Lords on the Monolith, I found my opponent 5 tiles from there. With ~80-90 mana and 8 power, versus no spellbook, I managed to win, even against a massive army. 2-1
