Didn't get any decent mages, decided to level Rion. Money-wise it worked out pretty well, broke into the adjacent zone on 112, built 2 Prefectures, took all resource mines and 1 gold mine. Was offered a level 2 Griffin Conservatory, but had nothing to take it with, so I ignored it. On 121 I spotted an enemy near my guard post. Decided it was time to attack (since it was my only decent exit) and on 121 I stationed Rion as a guard. The spells in GM2 were complete garbage, in GM3 only a fireball. Attacked the enemy with an army of 10 Crusaders, 20 Archers, 50+ Pikemen. The enemy had 2 birds and a few wolves and upgraded Goblins. Killed one bird, then they surrendered.
