Throughout the entire game, there was a critical lack of gold. All the crypts and the dwarven treasury were consistently giving minimum yields. I built giants in the fort, but there was no way to afford the army, and on top of that, the AI cut down 3 of my unicorns. In the end, I lost at the Griffin Conservatory.
