Experience in mirror matches helped, although it wasn't entirely straightforward. On turn 124, I switched to an offensive strategy, and then decided to return to my base and stall. Although I knew that Tazar was there and I should have pushed through to the end. As it was, towards the end, there was no chance against Tazar. And my elves consumed the entire Pandora creature without a Wisdom artifact on turn 122.
