I don't think the template system is perfect either. For example, one player might have already played a certain faction, while another hasn't. In that case, should it be removed from the starting list, or not? And the more templates that are played, the harder it will be to keep track! Maybe it would be better to have a complete list for each match, and each player can always remove the templates they don't like.

P.S.S. "Corifei" is the one who gets the most "votes" when registering for the tournament. Can you explain that? So, for example, if I name a hypothetical Kartofan during registration, and Vip names him too, does that mean he gets 2 points? And if each participant names 1 "corifei," who do we send the factions to?
