Favorites, to battle! - 8 - The Battle of Favorites! - 8

It turned out to be an intense game; I think we played without rests. This is because I spawned on the surface with a decent stack of skeletons and found a necro-cloak at 113, although my paths were far from perfect (it took me a week to reach the computer). Sanya had a gorgeous respawn with 3 hives and an external dwelling for cows; my crooked and long paths were corrected by a lucky TP scroll. I built up control by the middle of the third day and almost immediately jumped to meet the "basin," not expecting that at 142 I would be attacked by 80+ monarchs, 39 gr bulls (there was a double), and other same-old stuff. I had 1000+ skeletons, a few horses, liches, and about 5(6) angels; without mass haste, I managed to successfully trade off my entire army except for 200 skeletons for 60 monarchs and 20 bulls. But I still had a couple of cons in reserve, and right then I pulled out 15% necro-boots from the Dragon Utopia, so I restored my army with a pack of necros at a very fast pace. By digging up a killed vidomina for a pile of cash, I managed to kill a decent necro-noob with bracers, whom I again dug up the next turn :smile03: . Thanks to 3-4 heroes with control, I took all the castles on the surface in one turn, having a own sufficiently large timer reserve, which Sanya could no longer boast about, despite also having full control and currently a larger army under elixir. The surrender follows; the only key hero there is "taz," and the distances between cities are very large. I was making 200+ skeletons per turn and was short one flask for the elixir, which I surely would have found as well. Thanks for the game. 2 - 0
