How do I make the torches light up?

Good day, everyone. I've been working on a map for about a year now (it's going to be very grand). And I've run into a problem, specifically with the lighting in mines and dungeons, and there are a huge number of them. The problem is that torches and other decoration attributes don't provide any light. And I also wanted to ask how I can add music to a specific map?
