On my restart, I had a level 2 conservation and a maxed-out beehive, with two more on the secondary resource nodes. We got a lot of ranged guards, but the third hero turned out to be a miner, and we came up with a master plan: we placed horses, the miner leveled up Expert Tactics, opened up paths, and then everyone scattered. Simultaneously, we had: the Miner with 5 horses and 10 crossbowmen, Valkyrie with her usual army, and Tan with 60 mana (mana source) – we cleared three secondary resource nodes so skillfully that we placed angels on day 127.
It was at this moment that the blue player appeared: Dessa with a great retinue (Luna, Zeila, and two others) and a mediocre army. I didn't force an attack; by day 133, I had 8 angels, on day 135, I broke the Guardian of the Earth made of cyclops, and on day 136, it was the final battle.
Dessa was in his castle and was stronger in terms of stats (9-13-11-10 versus 6-10-4-4 for the Miner) and in terms of troops: 15+ champions, scorpios, and bulls, 3 angels, and so on, against 8 angels, 9 vipers, 6 horses, and so on. To be honest, I was lulled into a false sense of security by the sight of his weak army during our first encounter. There wasn't much left to do at home except run along the dirt road to the distant treasure, and Dessa could reach my capital in a maximum of two turns – so I decided to attack.
GG and thanks for the game!
