1) A man is not capable of truly loving a woman.
2) Only a woman can truly love another woman.
3) If a woman is unconscious next to a man, he will take advantage of her for his dirty purposes.

Angelina Jolie addressed the issue during an interview with BBC Radio on the Women's Hour programme and claimed that the subtext was intentional: "The question was asked: 'What could make a woman become so dark and lose all sense of her maternity, her womanhood, and her softness?'
