RPG I: The Necromancer's Revenge

I'll gather some mushrooms (and then test them on the Imp), and I'll walk along the path...

The Imp ate the mushroom and increased in size. It catches up to you and kicks you hard, -15 HP, then it opens a portal and disappears. What do you do?
