After a couple of restarts, the spawn was decent. X2 mana, a water wheel, and a conservatory tier 2 for Castle, within three days 3 experience mills, a conservatory, 2 external cyclops dwellings, and 1 external behemoth dwelling. Cleared all of this in two weeks, and in the middle of week 3 I reached the center via pathfinding, encountering another external behemoth dwelling along the way. Reached the center a couple of turns ahead of the opponent, took 2 dragon utopias, the hat, a Pandora's Box with Earth magic, and Angel Wings. From one of the prisons I freed a scout, who worked as a portable spotter with her skills. Got lucky with the entrance to the neighboring respawn — it was two steps away from my exit. Sent the horsemen there, found a town, 2 external angel dwellings, a dungeon, and a dragon utopia. Decided not to rush the opponent but to clear the neighboring respawn and upgrade the archers. Until the very end, I was wary of engaging the opponent, because stat-wise Valessa was ahead by 15 in attack and 10 in defense, while I only had 10 more spell power. Right before the last growth, I captured the opponent's capital, took more archers, and started taking castles one by one. By mid-week, the opponent left himself open to an attack, since there was no point in stalling. In the final battle, the opponent equipped the Red Orb, making all my efforts to boost spell power pointless =) Even though my 70 cyclops dealt the same damage as his 25, the mass of meatshields and the bears with defense-ignoring abilities decided everything.
An excellent game, the suspense lasted for me almost until the last week. Thanks for the game!
