After 1 restart, I was satisfied with my early position, with stables and a double mana node near my town, and three stacks of Tyraxor. I was badly blocked in many directions, though, and my movement was rather limited in week 1. I scouted many relics, but only some of them were useful. Tyraxor developed greatly, with logistics and earth magic, so mass slow allowed me to take some hard fights with a weak army in week 2. I took 2 hives, +4+4 cap, +4 all shield, a library, boots, and wings in one area, then Mullich took +4+4 armor. Tyraxor entered a treasure that was blocked before with the help of wings; it turned out to be nice, with 4 hives, +3 all, and a top. The top was minimal, giving a level 5 hat. On day 127, I took a fire tome and a gladius too, but I miscalculated and entered the wrong area with my main hero, which turned out to be my opponent's treasure, where he caught me with shackles. We both had level 5 spells, fire spells, similar armies, and no resurrection, so in this scenario, a draw was the most likely result, which we both realized after spamming 1000 earth elementals :smile52:
Thanks for the game!
Good first week, even though there were many minor losses, but the pace was excellent.
Two completely empty utopias severely hampered my progress, with two utopias = 0 stats, plus a CO and a KV, which were not needed (CO didn't play a role, and instead of KV, the Orator's hat had already been taken).
I planned to win the final on magic and bracers, even despite my opponent's x2 stats, but there was also a cap there, resulting in a zugzwang, with the army dead on both sides, and neither of us having resurrection. Both heroes would die in any battle scenario, and neither of us wanted to play a game of who could dig up a hero faster - so we agreed on a draw.
Thanks for the game!
