“Two Seasons: Summer-Autumn 2016” Tournament. Online games for rating (reports, discussions).
At 112 I saw a GO - horde of efreeti. My mood dropped. But by 117 I got Earth and cleared 5 out of 6 dwellings on the respawn. There were max and near-max dwellings. In short, I gathered almost 40k worth of Wis. Barely upgraded. I broke a max Consul on 121. And with Oil I attacked the GO. I broke through with troop losses. But I quickly picked up a couple more dwellings in the center. At 126 I discovered the opponent was half a turn away from me. I attack (before that I also stole the stats that he didn't manage to pick up). A brutal fight. The opponent surrendered. Thanks for the game.
I bought a Castle for 5100. At 111 I lost almost my entire army in a max Crypt, and didn't buy anything in the town, with a 4-hero spread at 112, low on gold. But I revealed an external Angel dwelling and 3 Consuls. Somehow I placed the Angels in the Fort without an external market. At 117 I was 1 movement short of taking the Angel dwelling! At 121 I take it, and at 122 3 Consuls (1+2+2), I pick up beehives and take a Dragon Utopia - it grants stats, I refill mana, upgrade the Angels and hit the Giants. I fly down and hit the Naga for a Teapot +6 all and Titan's Platemail, but I lack the movement to pick them up. My stats are twice as high, but after the opponent picked them up the stats evened out, I have no Oil and no Haste. And the opponent has it. Hard to tell who has the edge in troops, he has more Ducks, while I have 8 Archers. If I had gone forward or had 1 more movement to pick up at least the Teapot, it would have been a victory. Thanks for the game
