My first successful online game where I managed to maintain a more or less decent tempo. Got lucky with the generation — on d1w1 I grabbed a dungeon from the computer, set up a portal. Within a week I built cyclopes, found an external dwelling for them — got a decent stack. On week 2 I learned Expert Earth magic and steamrolled everything I saw. By the end of week 2 I built behemoths, by the start of week 4 I upgraded them and went to smash Dragon Utopias. I destroyed about 4 of them during the game, and not one of them had control. Finding a Castle town, I decided to upgrade angels from cans, so I only managed to build a Mage Guild in the first Castle. The only control spell — Town Portal — I found a couple of days before the final battle, which allowed me to fly around the towns and gather up as much as possible. In the final battle I had 4 times more mana, slightly fewer troops (at least that's what the tavern thought, going by the Kingdom Power stat). Only I didn't have any attack spells — no Chain Lightning, no Implosion, no Inferno, no Armageddon =) I played using Anti-Magic on your hydras + archangels; in the end it came down to an elemental duel, but I had 300 mana left when the opponent was already empty. Had he known I also didn't have Resurrection — maybe it would have made sense to keep playing, but he surrendered :) Thanks for the game!
That was indeed the case — I was a bit short on mana ) thanks for the game:rolleyes:

Second game, this time I had less luck with the distribution. On d1w1w6 I took out the green computer, set up a portal + dug up an external dwelling for nix. On d1w3w1 I hired serpent flies, gathered 18 wyverns and 4 phoenixes. Entered a Dragon Utopia without looking, ran into a maxed-out one and lost my entire army except for 12 nix. Reward was 50k gold + Titan's Thunder without the shield. By d1w3w7 I ran 2 Haspids — they turned out to be minimum size. On d1w3w7 I met the opponent with full MP, who had found a scroll of Implosion. I was nearly empty myself + only had level 1 spells in my book. I didn't bother buying a peace treaty, since dragging the game out was pointless — I'd fall too far behind in tempo and would still end up losing in the end. Thanks for the game!:)
