Yes, one of the things I didn't like was that at a certain point, the hero became so overpowered that he no longer needed an army, which he had been working towards throughout the game (resources, dwellings, magic, etc.).
Well, I don't know... For some reason, I always need an army, even when the hero is level 30 or higher.
