Maybe I should chime in too. On one hand, I agree that something needs to be done about the "cotton candy" teams. But on the other hand, I disagree with the fact that in the 1/8 playoffs, there are now effectively 2 free wins – that's definitely not good. I think there should have been a different approach in this situation, maybe even just flipping a coin immediately after the deadline.
