The opponent had another one, he didn't restore his Inferno, nothing interesting at the respawn, just one external dwelling of goblins (the opponent has an external dwelling of imps + an external dwelling of demons).
On the secondary, it's also completely empty, just one upgrade for 1k, no artifacts, nothing. There was a Gundula, already with Earth and such, but I made a willful decision to start leveling Iona, since I didn't see a way to win except through magic outs, considering the opponent kept having Mullich, then Paira, then Grindan pop up.
In the end, I managed to exploit good mine guards.
In the first fight, I break 90+ upgraded zombies on mud with a zero-level Iona, three birds, 14 wolves, and 60+ goblins, losing all the wolves and 14 goblins. Considering that auto-battle showed a total loss with fewer than 20 zombies killed — very good.
In the second, a lackey picked up a second mine guarded by 115 thieves.
Meanwhile, the opponent broke into a neighboring zone I saw from the lookout, also breaking through my guard.
Gundula broke a passage into another treasure zone, picked up a quest artifact (5k experience) there, but that treasure zone was the dreariest crap I've seen — a bunch of mana shrines + a Castle, that's the whole treasure zone, so I just went to attack the opponent, first building GM2, where I got a Bolt and doubled my mana in a fountain.
Iona level 4, stats at zero. However, I take both the opponent's secondary and main around turns 124-125, since he's still clearing the treasure zone. It was all clear by then IMO, since with an economy of 6k+ vs. 500 gold per day, there's nothing you can do (the opponent didn't color his mines, the guards there were nastier). But the opponent frayed my nerves a bit — first, thanks to Paira, he managed to return to his main on turn 131, and using the color mechanic, prevented me from denying him growth.
Then Pyrr just sits in the Castle ).
So we ran around a bit, I attacked the town once, traded (at a loss for me, but given the economy it didn't matter), bought back, then more running around, etc. At home I built bears, was ready to strike on turn 211 with 5 Michaels, but being broke and the war of attrition with lackeys forced the opponent to surrender a bit earlier.
Thanks for the game!
