Opp outplayed me. I took 4 Griffin Conservatories, they would have also given 9-10 angels, but there was not a single max roll... all minimums... Otherwise, my 23 Wyverns, 4 angels, 26 fire elementals, 15 air elementals couldn't handle the opponent's superior army: 10 angels, 11 lions, 100 Troglodytes, 20 minotaurs, 50 beholders, 450 skeletons. Stats were equal... No oil, there was a -300 bolt, blindness, curse... I charged into the angels, taking the retaliation with phoenix first...
