The old system was good because it didn't have a limit, and its pros and cons were more readily apparent. Plus, you could cancel or change a rating. On the other hand, I like the ability to comment in the current system, which allows for a chat-like experience in the database (until the limit is reached). The public display of reputation, I'm not sure if it's a plus or a minus. So, I don't know if it's worth changing the reputation system; I've already gotten used to the new one, and I like it.
